What to expect:
Our hands-on classes are typically held in the afternoon and run for approximately three hours. We'll begin with a brief look at the history of bagels before diving into the bagel-making process. Throughout the class, you will mix and knead dough, shape bagels, boil them, bake them, and of course, eat them!
Who should sign up:
We welcome everyone, from complete beginners looking for a fun and unique experience to experienced bakers hoping to refine their skills. This class is designed for home bakers, foodies, and anyone curious about the craft behind great bagels. No baking experience? No problem! It's perfect for a date night, an outing with friends, or if you simply want to elevate your baking game.
What you will bring home:
A recipe booklet so you can recreate the process at home
Three prepared dough balls to bake the next day
Six freshly baked bagels made during class
The knowledge and confidence to continue making bagels in your own kitchen
Hi, I’m Molly! I started baking at home in college and quickly fell in love with sharing bagels and bread with friends and family. I’ve been baking professionally since 2024 and now work at a bakery and bagel shop in Denver. I love talking about bagels—and even more, I love eating them!
Hello, I’m Alex. I’ve been baking professionally for over four years now and I really enjoy getting to show people that great baking is accessible at home. When I’m not doing this, I enjoy yoga, listening to music, and learning new things. I’m excited to share my love of baking and food with you in class!
